[7.] Aine -N- Sakuya (Kaikan Phrase)
it's unexplainable, but he's in a band, she's the lyricist, and they make beautiful music *lol* - the loyalty between them throughout the manga/anime is fantastic.
[6.] Mackayla 'Mac' Lane -N- Jericho Barrons (Fever Series- Karen Marie Moning) DOES NOVELS COUNT AS FANDOM?!
there's so much betweent his couple, three novels filled (so far)- they ooze UST and plain ole tension also- I love their scenes together, cause he's so mysterious and she's become a brilliant heroine.

[5.] Shuichi Shindou -N- Eiri Yuki (Gravitation)
it's one of those opposites attract couples- I basically got sucked into this series by the bubbly Shuichi and just fell in love with the couple as Shuichi fell for Eiri.
[4.] Serena -N- Darian (Sailor Moon)
gotta love destines love- my first EVER ship began when I was 11-12 yrs old, and is still loving it. Still talk about them with my RL friends and still read countless fics. She's just a bit ditzy and he's serious and loves her for all her wackiness.
[3.] Ianto Jones -N- Captain Jack Harkness (Torchwood)
flirty relationship, that showed massive potential (too bad TPTB had to whack one half of the pair- still a bit peeved) -showed a growing relationship and great friendship with great loyalty.
[2.] Teyla Emmagan -N- Lt. Colonel John Sheppard (Stargate Atlantis)
the first ship I actively participated in a forum about- Based soley on a knee jerk reaction to their first meeting and the development of a strong friendship (that is until the last two seasons)
[1.] Mina -N- Malachite (Sailor Moon)
there's no rhyme or reason to this love affair- it was mentioned in the manga ( i believe) and a picture solidified it for me- Basically they are so pretty together and the idea that the Generals were with the Scouts makes a great myth- Plus she's my absolute favorite Sailor Scout.
