So I recently ordered one of Teresa's novels, and this was a Plog that showed up today on Amazon.com, it gave me a giggle.....lol

1) You never have to worry about him coming home and saying, "What's for dinner, honey?"
2) When he says, "I'll love you forever", he means it
3) Black can be very slimming

Date: 2006-10-02 08:17 pm (UTC)I love paranormal novels...if there happens to me vampires in them...all the better...
So...I just bought Maggie Shayne's Prince of Twilight..(long line at the grocery store, and just happened to be next to a book stand)..never read any of hers...how about you?
Oh sidenote...I must thank you Witchy...I am now as broke as you (Heehee) I was walking through the bookstore and saw Kaikan Phrase and out of curiousity, since reading your LJ post on the manga, decided to pick one up...
I'm a lost cause! There are 13 volumes out...I've gotten the first two...but am trying to maintain some self control so I don't go buy the others right now...wonder how long that's going to last...

Date: 2006-10-02 08:40 pm (UTC)Oh Maggie Shayne,(avoid the lanes with the books...lol...it's like kids in the candy lane...;-D ) I've read some of the Twilight series. It's one series that i've actually read out of order. I've got a thing for reading books in the order they were written, but that's one I actually read kind of out of order. I liked it. I haven't read the last two I think. didn't even know there was another out.
Since i moved I actually got a good look at all my books and it's daunting. i couldn't believe how many i had...O_o....I may list my favorite series since they're fresh in my mind.
Hate to break it to you, but there's 15 volumes out, translated..*runs and hides*.....lol....good news...i think there's only 17 volumes....:-D...I haven't made it to the bookstore to get the rest yet. But I got paid, so i'm getting my hair cut, and skipping along to the bookstore this weekend.
Oh you're better than i am. I don't think i could have resisted if I wasn't so busy the last few weeks.

Date: 2006-10-02 09:39 pm (UTC)I had no idea you liked vampire stories! They're my latest obsession at the moment––could have something to do with the fact that I'm writing one. :D
Have you ever read any of Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles? Those novels are probably the best vampire fiction I've ever read.

Date: 2006-10-02 10:01 pm (UTC)Maybe i'll get to it eventually...hopefully before the papers change color.
Vampire novels became my obsession with one of Christine Feehan's Dark Series novels, after that it was downhill.
oh will you be posting the one you're working on..on your LJ or are you going to try to get it published?
