So anyone who knows me, oh have even glanced at some of my posts know I've got a thing for Vampire/Paranormal novels.

So I recently ordered one of Teresa's novels, and this was a Plog that showed up today on Amazon.com, it gave me a giggle.....lol

1) You never have to worry about him coming home and saying, "What's for dinner, honey?"

2) When he says, "I'll love you forever", he means it

3) Black can be very slimming

4) He'll never hog the mirror in the morning

5) No more worries about West Nile Virus with that bat flitting around your eaves

6) Instead of making the bed every morning, you can just close the lid

7) He'll never have garlic breath

8) You can spend all day at the mall shopping while he's sleeping

9) A Transylvanian henchman is cheaper than a maid or a gardener

10) When he promises to "make love to you all night," he won't roll over in fifteen minutes and go to sleep.

Oh that's good...love the 'he'll never hog the mirror in the morning'

I love paranormal novels...if there happens to me vampires in them...all the better...

So...I just bought Maggie Shayne's Prince of Twilight..(long line at the grocery store, and just happened to be next to a book stand)..never read any of hers...how about you?

Oh sidenote...I must thank you Witchy...I am now as broke as you (Heehee) I was walking through the bookstore and saw Kaikan Phrase and out of curiousity, since reading your LJ post on the manga, decided to pick one up...

I'm a lost cause! There are 13 volumes out...I've gotten the first two...but am trying to maintain some self control so I don't go buy the others right now...wonder how long that's going to last...

hehehe....I know. I'd seen another list from another author awhile back so i'll have to hunt that one down also.

Oh Maggie Shayne,(avoid the lanes with the books...lol...it's like kids in the candy lane...;-D ) I've read some of the Twilight series. It's one series that i've actually read out of order. I've got a thing for reading books in the order they were written, but that's one I actually read kind of out of order. I liked it. I haven't read the last two I think. didn't even know there was another out.

Since i moved I actually got a good look at all my books and it's daunting. i couldn't believe how many i had...O_o....I may list my favorite series since they're fresh in my mind.

Hate to break it to you, but there's 15 volumes out, translated..*runs and hides*.....lol....good news...i think there's only 17 volumes....:-D...I haven't made it to the bookstore to get the rest yet. But I got paid, so i'm getting my hair cut, and skipping along to the bookstore this weekend.

Oh you're better than i am. I don't think i could have resisted if I wasn't so busy the last few weeks.

*dies laughing* OMG, that is absolutely hilarious!

I had no idea you liked vampire stories! They're my latest obsession at the moment––could have something to do with the fact that I'm writing one. :D

Have you ever read any of Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles? Those novels are probably the best vampire fiction I've ever read.

ETA: Yes, I did know you liked vampire stories. You just left me a comment that said you'd read Morrigan's Cross and were looking at LKH's Anita Blake series. *feels stupid*

See everytime i say i read vampire novels, everyone tells me i should read Anne Rice, but i procrastinate so much that i never get her stuff. Like i've got Pandora, and as i've said the Mayfair Witches books but I've only read maybe the first chapter, and have never in the last year and a half picked either of them back up to read them. I always say when i get time, but i'm always spending my time doing something else.

Maybe i'll get to it eventually...hopefully before the papers change color.

Vampire novels became my obsession with one of Christine Feehan's Dark Series novels, after that it was downhill.

oh will you be posting the one you're working on..on your LJ or are you going to try to get it published?

I'm going to try and get it published. *crosses fingers* But I'll definitely announce it on my LJ if it does get published––the title is Quoth the Raven.
